Fluorite  is a critical non-metallic mineral widely applied in metallurgy, chemical industry, glass manufacturing, and new energy fields. Most natural fluorite ore is associated with complex gangue minerals such as quartz, calcite, barite, and sulfide impurities. Low-grade raw fluorite cannot meet industrial standards directly. Froth flotation is the most efficient and mainstream beneficiation technology for fine-grained and complex fluorite ore, which effectively improves CaF₂ concentrate grade and resource utilization rate.

The complete fluorite flotation production line adopts a standardized closed-circuit process, covering crushing, grinding, desliming, staged flotation, and dewatering. Each processing link is matched with professional equipment to achieve selective separation between fluorite and gangue minerals, solving the separation difficulty caused by similar mineral surface properties.

Crushing and grinding equipment form the foundation of fluorite beneficiation. Jaw crushers and cone crushers conduct staged crushing to control feeding particle size uniformly. The closed-circuit grinding system composed of ball mills and spiral classifiers ensures full monomer dissociation of fine fluorite particles, avoiding over-grinding or under-grinding. This precise particle size control is a key prerequisite for stable flotation efficiency.

Desliming pretreatment is essential for high-purity fluorite production. Raw fluorite ore contains a large amount of fine mud, which will cover mineral surfaces and consume flotation reagents, seriously reducing separation accuracy. Hydrocyclones and desliming equipment are used to remove slime impurities, purify pulp environment, and create optimal conditions for subsequent flotation operations.

Flotation machines are the core equipment of the entire production line. Mechanical agitation flotation cells are widely used for fluorite beneficiation, featuring stable air suction, uniform pulp mixing, and strong adaptability. The process adopts a staged flotation flow: sulfide impurities are first removed by priority flotation with xanthate collectors, then fluorite roughing and multiple cleaning operations are carried out with fatty acid collectors and selective inhibitors. This staged separation effectively separates fluorite from quartz and calcite, realizing high-grade concentrate production.

Dewatering and tailings processing equipment guarantees qualified final products. Concentrate thickeners and filter presses are equipped to reduce concentrate moisture, meeting industrial drying and storage standards. Meanwhile, matched tailings treatment equipment ensures compliant discharge and resource recovery, realizing green and environmentally friendly production.

Reasonable equipment selection and optimized flotation technology are the keys to improving fluorite beneficiation indicators. Customized process design based on different ore properties can significantly increase concentrate grade and recovery rate. With stable operation, low reagent consumption and high efficiency, modern fluorite flotation technology has become the preferred solution for global high-purity fluorite mineral processing.
